1. How do I book a boat?

Select your destination and browse through our selection of over 8,500 sailboats, catamarans, gulets, speedboats and motorboats available in over 20 different countries around the world. Once you’ve chosen your boat and entered your check-in and check-out dates proceed with payment and you are set to go.

Alternatively, you can get assistance from our team of experts who will help you find the best boat at a competitive price. Simply click on “contact now ” and fill-out the short form and our team will be in touch with a great offer for you. This service is free of charge? Yes it is!!

A transit log is a small fee charged by the charter company that includes final cleaning, gas for cooking and depending on your destination also bed linen.

2.What sailing licence do I need?

Please always check the license needed for the yacht you would like to rent. You can find this information on the online boat profile. If you are not sure, feel free to contact us.

3.What if I want to pick-up my yacht earlier than the charter company offers?

Many boat owners offer early check-in at an additional fee. You can find this information on the boat profile.

The early check-ins usually have limited availability, so please let us know in advance to book your slot.

4.How do I pay for my booking?

Seayourboat offers a secure payment using a credit card. You can also pay by trasnferwise or any local payment method available in your country. If these do not suit, please let us know.

5.I need a skipper

You can rent your sailing holiday with a professional skipper on board. Their service is usually paid extra with the price listed among the extra fees on each boat profile.

6. What about pets ?

Sailing with pets is possible for an additional fee. This information is displayed on the boat profiles. 

Please let us know if you plan to take your pet on board. 

7. What currencies does Seayourboat accept?

EUR, GBP and USD. Soon we will be accepting other currencies too.

9. Can I message the charter company before booking a boat?

Yes, simply send us a request and one of our team members will put you in contact with the charter.

10. How do I know where the boat is located?

You can check where boats are and see information about the location on the Boat’s Listing Page where you’ll find a map of the marina.

11.How much time does the charter have to respond aſter I make a booking request?

The charter has 24 hours to accept or reject your booking.

12. When will I receive the charter’s contact details?

You will receive the charter’s details aſter the Charter confirms the booking.

13. Can rental prices change?

Yes, as with hotels, boat prices very much depend on the time of the year, demand for the boat and discounts offered by the charters. Contact our team to discover the optimum booking times for your chosen destination.

14.Can I write a review of my holiday?

We’d love to hear from you - we are always on the lookout for new ways to improve our services. Aſter you checkout from the boat, you will receive a request via email asking you to review the trip. You also have the opportunity to post your reviews on our social platform media platforms.

15.What additional costs can I expect?

Every boat listing offers information on additional costs that may occur. When planning your trip, you should consider the costs of: crew and staff, cleaning, visas, fuel, taxes, and additional fees at the port such as mooring and parking fees, disposal costs and the rental of extra equipment. It should be noted that fuel charges and marina fees are not included in the price. You may also choose to add a skipper for an additional daily fee.


Cancellations

What is the cancellation policy?

Seayourboat offers a full refund for cancellations made within 24 hours of booking. For cancellations made up to 7 days aſter the booking date, a 12% handling fee is retained. For bookings cancelled up to 30 days before the check-in date, a 50% refund of the total amount is applied. Cancellations made within less than 30 days of the check-in date are not eligible for refund.

I want to cancel my booking.

Please contact the charter company that you booked with. Otherwise give our customer services a call and we will help you handle it.
